The Royal River Luxury Hotel in Costa Adeje chosen best hotel in Spain by the Spanish Association of Tourism Journalists and Writers.
The Spanish Association of Tourism Journalists and Writers, attached to the World Federation, FIJET WORLD, has awarded the FIJET Spain 2022 Awards, with the aim of recognising and honouring all entities, organisations, projects and destinations in the field of Tourism, valuing excellence in the management of the different actors, the promotion of tourism and its destinations.
In this edition, more than 107 nominees participated in the 5 categories of Best Destination Country, Best Spanish City, Best Transport Company operating in Spain, Best Hotel and Best Wine Route.
In the Best Hotel in Spain category, the winner was the Royal River Luxury Hotel & Spa, located in Tenerife's most exclusive destination, facing the Costa Adeje Golf Course and the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel has a spectacular collection of 50 villas. The African-inspired Lagoon Villas, the River Villas connected by a river through lush vegetation and the Pool Villas with their own private pool: a unique concept in Spain.

The hotel aims to be a benchmark for the island's gastronomy with four restaurants run by chef Íñigo Almenara: Flamingo, a modern French gastro-brasserie; Kokoro, with Asian cuisine; Pineapple, a buffet restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast; and The Top, a lookout restaurant with incredible panoramic views and infinity pool that stands out for its careful and elegant cuisine where the highest quality produce is the star.
